typhoid, malaria, megingitis. oh my!

Today I went to the County Health office, and they poked my arm.... lots.

I literally left wondering why on earth people do this for fun in the first place before getting addicted to drugs. Worst obsession ever.

Multiple nurses also asked me if I was excited for my mission. I laughed a little bit.

But the good news is that I now won't be getting:

Hepatitis A,
Hepatitis B,
Tetanus,
Meningitis,
Rabies,
or
Yellow Fever any time soon.

I even got color-coded Charlie Brown bandaids. (I'm supposed to rub the green ones, but not the blue one.)

I still get to look forward taking awesome nasty malaria and typhoid medications. The process for taking the typhoid meds is really particular, so they also send you home with a bracelet that is essentially an orange Livestrong bracelet that says, "Remember Oral Typhoid Vaccine." Needless to say, it's quite the fashion accessory.

So, aside from the fever the nurse said that I can be expecting in 6-7 days as a side effect, I am just getting ready to start Spring Term. Only 52 days until I board my flight! So soon!
