I came to a frightening realization the other day. I don't really have hobbies anymore. I mean, in high school I had tons. At the top of that list came dance.
While I still take a dance class, I feel like I've lost a lot of it. I also
do yoga (again, for class). Even my travels this summer revolve around school. I mean, studying just does not count. And neither does Pinterest. Even the Bachelor does not qualify. However, the end of the season has freed up a few hours to spend on a new hobby.
So, in an effort to sound more interesting when introducing myself to new people (something that happens all of the time at BYU), I'm going to start coming up with some new hobbies...
Maybe I'll take up magic.

Then again, it's possible that I'd just get some Hassel... so we'll avoid magic and all of its national television glory.
Instead, I could be a cup stacking champion....
But why allow yourself to be schooled by a four year old. . .
If all else fails, I could be an extreme couponer. . .
But where am I going to put 233,980,087 bottles of ketchup,
3 years worth of toilet paper,
and 32,545 cans of cat food in this apartment?
Yeah, I'm not...
So, I suppose cooking, watching movies, and traveling count... and maybe even blogging.
However, if you do have an itching to join the jousting club on campus with me (never in my life) give me any suggestions, I'm on the lookout!

I can teach you to crochet! Everyone thinks I'm an old lady but I love doing it and keeping my hands busy during things like general conference helps me pay attention better. And you have a friends baby coming up that you can make tons of cute things for;) ha just kidding on that one
