I learn so much from them. At work, at school, at church, among friends, roommates, missionary couples, professors, family. There are SO many people to learn from. Oftentimes I find that when I learn about them, I love them, and there's not much going back.
So when it comes time to say goodbye to them, even temporarily, it's really hard. And maybe I take it harder than most.
But I figure, it wouldn't hurt so much if I didn't love them so much. And I like this sadness much, much better than the alternative.
