the kampala diaries: day 6, middlemarch

Today was tough.

Lots of trying.

Some success.

Some failure.

Lots of silent prayers, and lots of conversing with God.

Lots of reminding myself that progression takes time.

I know that our struggles don't fall on deaf ears, and that even the smallest, and most unhistoric acts matter to Him.

"[F]or the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs." -George Eliot, Middlemarch
