I ate a pigeon.
Basically, it means that you set an appointment and that person stands you up.
Somedays your mouth ends up full of them...
And this is only great under one circumstance: your ability to be productive in an otherwise wasted blurp of time.
Today this actually worked out on my account, but lately, I've spent these little cracks of time browsing Pinterest or immersing myself in some other totally fruitless activity.
As per usual, I've filled my days with lots of to do list items, but I find myself frustrated at the end of the day when I realize that there were all of these little snippets of time in my day when I could have made that phone call, sent a follow up email, or actually started to look ahead in my classes instead of treading water day to day.
Today, I did a little better than I usually do. The little crack in my sidewalk that opened up turned into a smaller inbox and digging through, "Lincoln's Great Speeches." I felt so much better at the end of that half hour.
I'm so far from where I need to be when it comes to time management, but I'm feeling more like God gives us time to be productive, so that little by little, we can become like Him. I wonder if we internalized this more, how our Netflix monthly usage would change, and how much more interesting, healthy, spiritual, and well-rounded we'd be as individuals. And by we, I mostly mean me.

obviously I love this. You're a star :)
