patience.
It's quite the humbling thing,
to receive someone's patience
when you realize that you need it.
It's easy to stumble and forgive yourself,
but to make a task more difficult for someone else
and then to meet quiet encouragement
instead of what you think you deserve,
now that's something to be appreciated.
I look back on the times that I could have been more patient,
times when somebody else needed the benefit of the doubt,
and I think I'd like to be that person for someone else.
And the beauty of life is that we're always interacting with people,
imperfect, human people,
trying to live together,
and trying to mesh our worlds into this beautiful thing called life,
so there's always that chance.
