Like a Hallmark Card

So the other day my family, cousins and all, went to Seven Peaks.
It had been a long day, and I was ready to get out of the water. After
drying off, Ryan made one last push to get in the water. By default,
I became the babysitter and went with him. After a few minutes I was
done, and wanted to get out of the water. How better to coax a 6-year
old little boy out of the water than good old fashioned bribery? So I
told him that when we returned the tubes, he could have the dollar
that we would get back (in theory). When we didn't, I was beyond
caring and offered to give him one of my own dollars. Then came
the sweet Hallmark Card moment as I made a little small talk with
him:

Megan: What's been the best part of your day?

Ryan: Seven Peaks.

Megan: What's been the best part of your week?

Ryan: Drew (his cousin) being here.

Then pushing it a little further...

Megan: What's been the best part of your life?

Ryan: You.

The kid melted my heart. And there was a sweet moment where
the sun was setting and nothing was said.

Then came the kicker...

Ryan: Do I get another dollar for that?
